Those who can't rotate your tires-- Come in!! I'm gonna be getting some TTII's for my car. Right now I'm stuck on if I wanna get the wider wheels in the back or not. This car is my daily driver, and doesn't see much track time. I'm concerned that tires won't last long not being able to rotate them. How much mileage are you all seeing? I'm not concerned about actual mileage as much as not being able to rotate the fronts to the rear, and then they start to cup and ride like ****. What are you all experiencing?

you can rotate them side to side, which means you'll have to break them down if there directional, unless you get assymetrical tires.
to be honest with as much driving as i did back when it was a daily driver i still havent replaced my front tires and that was 3 years ago, and i still have tread left. tires are chopping out a little but not enuff to cause any problems, the rears are 315's and they wear flat across with no problems, proper air will also have an effect on the wear. let me know if you need any more help

I work at a shop, so the pressures will always be right and the alignment will always be dead nuts on.
What kind of 315 tires are you all running in the back?? I'm looking for something kind of cheap. I know I can get Sumitomos for $99 but I'd like something a little better. Is there anything around the $200 per tire range??

I just don't know about running a drag radial out back because its my daily driver and it will see rain. Plus, I don't go to the track much at all. But the drag radials (BFG & Nitto) are about the only tires I can afford in a 315/35/17

while i understand economics play a big role in things, i personally can't stand when the fronts and rears are mis-matched brands if i had bought nitto dr's i would have put 555 up front. to my eye it just looks ghetto

im running riken raptors they are made by michelin they are pretty good as far as i can tell they pick the littles rocks up and are nice and sticky but they are also cheap i use them for my (kinda) daily driver z28 im impressed with them

I was running nitto dr's then switched to Sumitomo HTR Z just for the simple fact that I like to club the sh## out of my car burn outs and such I just couldn't justify the caost of the nitto's compared to the sumitomo they don't handle to bad. And I have done numerous burn outs on them and they seem to be hanging in there pretty well. They didn't balance up very well though thats the only problem that I've had with them. I haven't had any problems with cupping on any of my tires though I have roughly 15k miles on them, with no rotation.

Don't be afraid of drag radials. I ran my Nitto 555R until the center was completely bald and I drove it in the rain a few times and I didn't have a single problem with them. I loved how they looked and I like how the hooked even better.
