I have been running my car on MT DR's on the factory 17" wheels. Those tires are about to wear out and I am thinking about putting my street tires back on and putting MT DR's on two 16'' wheels I have. I have been hooking good on the 17" wheels, but I am about to spray 100 shot off the line. Just wondering how good the 16's will do.

I have a pair of firebird wheels with 26x10.50 ET Streets and I hook on them.

I hook just fine, but I bring mine down to 20 psi and I'm basically stock

I did fine on the 17's. I usually ran about 22lbs of pressure. I guess if I have probs on the 16's I can lower the pressure to 17 or 18. I don't know how it will react launching on 100-150 shot.

My bro pulls 1.6x 60's and pops small wheelies on a 16" stock wheel w/MT radials.

I usually pull both my tires when I pull 1.5 60's, but sometimes they don't prep the track as well when not too many people show up. when they don't prep the track I pull 1.6's. A friend of mine launches on a 200 shot. he has 17'' et streets. he does his burnout and then he does another small burnout with some vht on the tires. he gets 1.4 60's pulling the tires up about 2 feet in the air. Looks impressive, however I don't know how much of that the 10-bolt will take.
