Silver Trans Am w/ Black ZR1's PICS
Well I just got these last weekend. They used to be chrome but the chrome was all flaking off so the previous owner scraped all the chrome off and rattle canned 'em flat black. So I scuffed on 'em for a couple days and gave it the old $10 paint job. The silver spraypaint on the centercap actually matches the car pretty well. Didn't turn out too bad at all. I actually like it better with no polished lip. This summer I'll strip them down the right way and do a nice basecoat clearcoat job Enjoy. BTW it's a Skyjacker 6in lift for those that were wondering

No offense but . Your car would look 100 million times better with regular chrome rims, or black with a chrome lip. I really feel that all black, rattle can painted rims like so many people have on here, really lower the over look and value of the car. Do yourself a favor and pick up a set of quality rims. You won't regret it.

I'll be the first to admit that the spraypainted wheels aren't exactly "classy," but trust me, these are 1 bajillion times better than what was on there before... look like they came straight off a sunfire or an aztek.
Hell, for the price I got them for it would have been stupid of me not to pick them up! My dad does autobody and paint so we'll fix them up real nice this summer. I actually scuffed off the ring around the edge to see how it would look with the polished lip but decided against it. Thats the good thing about having a extra set of wheels that you don't have to be all **** about: you can experiment with different things and see what you like.
