18 X 10.5 ZO6 rear wheels. TIRE APPLICATION?
Hey everyone, I need some help. Looking though all these threads becomes rediculous after a while when i can just get some direct advice. I am running 18 X 10.5 ZO6 wheels on my 99 camaro. I am looking to throw some street radials on there. What im hoping will work is a set of 305 35 18. What i need to know is what is the biggest tire i can put on there without any banging of the wheel well. Or, should i get some spacers?

Everytime i tried to use a spacer i couldnt get any of the lug nuts to fit and the spacers were thinner than snot! So i say no to any kind of spacer. You can beat the wheel well and still have it look nice if you cover it up with a little paint or something. I think 295 would be the widdest you could go without rubbing

I am running 295/35R18 on OEM Z06 rears and I did the BFH mod, but I don't think it was necessary, I did it more for the 'just in case' factor (my car is stock height for now).

running factory 18x10.5 wheels of an 02 z06 with 315/30/18 BFG DRs, Did the BFG mod and still have a lil rubbing, but the BFG 315s are bigger than other 315s I hear, I'll be going with a 305 nitto DR next most likely
