New Centerline Convo Pro 15x9 wheels-Pics
Here are some pictures of the Centerline’s new 15x9 with 6.5”bs Convo Pro wheels with 275x50x15 tires on them.
As you all might know 15x7.5 5”bs and the 15.8.5 5”bs Convo Pro wheels do not require grinding of the brake calipers to fit our cars. The only small problems with these two choices are tire size limitations of a 7.5” wheel and the 15x8.5 wheels stick out a little.
I really like the look of the Convo Pro wheel and I think the 15x9 wheels look great on the car. The only problem is the 6.5” backspace does require some grinding of the brake calipers to fit our cars.
The picture at the link below compares the fit of the 7.5”, 8.5”, and the 9” Convo Pro wheels.

I was just looking at these rims on summit and they look different on their website though.
I really dont want go gring my calipers but do you know if any aftermarket caliper will fit and will not need to be shaved? How long did it take ya?
Also, what size tires can you run with 15.8. 5 5" BS?
One more question, what size are the fronts? Rims and tires.
Sorry for the questions but this will be my 1st "drag wheels" and I dont want to do it again. Thanks

You could probably run 1993-1997 rear F-body calipers/rotors and these wheels without grinding. Grinding took about 10min per side.
You can run a 10” tire on an 8.5” wheel with no problems at all.
The front wheels are 15x4 with 1.75”bs and 165R15 tires.

Bringing this one up from the dead after using the search function.
Centerline has a couple other options for drag wheels instead of the Convo Pros with the same offsets offered. If I was to order say a Convo ET with the same offsets they should fit just the same, right?
For instance... a 15x9x6.5bs Convo Pro will require the same clearance as a 15x9x6.5bs Convo ET?
TIA!

I always liked the Telstars too. Just heard they took insane amounts of grinding to fit the LS1 cars. More than the Prostars I had, and I ground the hell outta my calipers to clear those.

the links seem to be down and the images i am curious to see are not visible.
my research yielded, that ls1 had 11.9" rotors front and 12" rear.
i have read conflicting reports about who needed to grind how much for "x" rims.
my specific question is if wilwood 11.75" rotors and calipers will clear convo pros? if so, all bs or specific bs and spacers?
but i will settle for some anecdotal evidence in the form of how much material people grinded off their calipers or if someone can measure the inside thinest diameter of their convo pros. i have read the aforementioned wilwood setup requires a minimum of 13.25".
seems like there were no issues with 15x4 1.75 bs, is this correct?
