Default ZR1 Wheel Questions (Not the typical questions)

Im looking for a set of wheels and have noticed that there are a couple different styles of black ZR1s (grand sports). One looks like I remember them to look, while the others have a dish in the rear and the spokes appear to be more flat and squared off. I like the second style better but dont know where to look for them?

You want the flatter, more square spokes? Those would be the OE Concepts. I had them on my car, they are in the sig. 11" wide with 50mm offset. They have the lip.
The 36mm are the Corvette ZR1 offset that have the deep center around the lugs and stick out on an F body.

The OE concepts are the ones you want. I did all the research when I bought mine but they were on back order. I had no wheels so took a chance on the "Factory Reproduction" wheels. The quality is great but they have the "deep lugs" rather than the lip. Mine are 50mm offsets. The "deep lug" has nothing to do with the offset.

I got mine through Tomz - service was great. They were upfront saying that the ones I bought were not the ones they normally carried. I like what I got but would have preferred the larger lip of the OE Concepts.

As for the shootout, I would love to make it. But I think my wife is about to pop out our daughter any day now. I don't want to miss the birth of my first child. But I would love to see Tim's GTO, and Shawn's ATI powered 06 Z06 run.

The NICE" ZR1s are 17x11 in the back with a 32mm offset to give it that nice deep blocky look!

Those nasty high offset, 52mm or somthing Zr1s are the crappy ones...

The 36mm are made for the C4 ZR1 which had a wider rear half of the car. On an F body the 50mm Grand Sport offset fits best. The 36mm sticks out enough that you should put some air shocks on it, jack it up and put some louvers on the back window along with a chrome chain link steering wheel.

Well thats what hes asking for, the deeper offset rims......

Last time I checked, its all about stuffing the widest rim, and widest tire in the Fbody world.

Like 335s dont stick out
