Default Those with AR Rebel Rims please come in....

I'm looking at buying a new set of American Racing Rebel rims for my '01 firehawk trans am. I found some for a good price but have a few questions. Currently I'm running the stock 17 inch rims. I'm trying to decide on 17's vs. 18's this time. Will the ride quality change much from going from 17's to 18's? I've got revalved Bilsteins, ground control coilover, 500 spring rate in front and 150 in back, LCA's, relo brackets, Adj PHB and weld in SFC's (just to give some background of my setup).

I believe that our stock bolt patters is 5 on a 4.75, is this correct? Lastly, if anyone has these rims or knowledge of them.....are any spacers required with running them? I'm not wanting any rims which will require me to run spacers. Also, If you have any pics of your car, or a friends car with the chrome rebels please post them. Much thanks to all who provider information.

Default Here's mine!

You will need hubcentric rings to center them. Otherwise, they'll vibrate at speeds over 40mph. Later

Thanks for the pics. The rims look great on your car. Did you have to BFH the inner wells to get the rears to fit? Are your fender lips rolled?

Hi, no I didn't do anything with the bfh. My rear fenders are rolled btw and a 1 inch spacer is in place in the back springs. Reason being, I have BFG DRs and they're 26+ inches tall. Here is a picture from the rear. Enjoy

i didnt need any hub rings or need to do any modifying, but of course i have a t/a. and you shouldnt notice any ride difference between 17" and 18", my 18's ride pretty good.

Here's a set we did on my buddy Tim's car in chrome. They ride fine according to him, no hub rings needed.

Let me know if you need a set.
