Default Question about treads...

So someone slashed one of my KDW the other night, only one... but that is turning into more of a problem then if they woulda just hit them both.

anyways, my friends dad owns a car dealership and is ordering me a new KDW, but he doesnt know if it is going to the the traditional tread, or the flame tread one... will it make a difference, performance wise, if one tire is the traditional and one is the flame?

when the tires are rolling the grooves look the same, and it looks like they almost have the same tread lines, just one is wavey and one isnt it. myu dad thinks it will be alot different in traction and end up breaking my rear end...

so i come to you guys, do you think it will matter? the old tires have jst under 800 miles on them so it isnt like they are worn..

lets hear what you think

thanks guys

I don't feel you'll have an issue with the KDW vrs the KDW2 . . . . Mores sizxes are avasilable in the origonal tread pattern than the new . . . the KDW2 seem to cater to bigger wheesl or at least the smaller sidewalls.

So if you are running a 275/40ZR17 it is not avaialble in the new tread pattern.
