Default powder coating stock rims on 02 ta

I have an 02 ta w6 SOM. I was thinking of getting the stock rims powdered black to have as everyday driving and winter time. Then buy some nice shiny chrome ones for the summer. What do you guys think about powdering the stock rims. Good idea or bad.

If I powder the rims I am going to do the entire rim all black no polish or chrome parts. Will this look good because if not I plan on leaving them alone.

personally, I think it will look good. the all-black wheels I've disliked were tall wheels that carried tires with very short sidewalls, so it looked like there was just a wheel, no tire. stockers won't have that problem.

Do it but please leave the polished lip.All black just looks like you spray painted it or somthing.Theres also no line seperating the wheel from the tire.
