Default 295/35/18 on an 18x10" wheel?

So I'd like to order tires for my CCW's tomorrow.

I plan on going with 295/35/18 BFG KDW2's up front on the 18x10" wheel and 315/30/18 BFG DR's out back on the 18x11" wheel.
I just wanted to double check and make sure that the 295/35/18 is good up front?

Also, do you tink I'd be better off with the 295 or the 275 KDW2 on the 18x10" wheel?
I'd like the tires to sit very square and not taper in AT ALL from the rim which is why I'm guessing the 295 tire would be best

I think it is too wide
I have 285 GSD3s on my 10s and they bulge

GSD3's run wide so you MIGHT be ok with the KDW2's.

Im running 295/35/18 on my 10.5" wheels and they fir perfect. I dont think the extra 1/4" per side less width will make any difference in appearance or buldge.

If the KDW2 came in 285/35 that would be awesome, unfortunately they do not

10" wheel is the narrowest recommended for a 295/35ZR18 tire.

I would bump down to 275 then.

275-35-18 is a better match anyway for 315-30-18 (same size that is)
BFG does make them in that size too

They also have a 285-30-18, but that is a 2.8% difference from the rear tires where the 275-35-18 would be only a 0.5% difference

BFG does make them in that size too

Just ordered them today and that's exactly what I did
The 295/35 would have been quite a bit bigger than the 315/30 and would have caused all sorts of problems

I really hope the 275's look good

I think they will. They won't have any bulge and they won't look stretched either. I think they will look perfect.

I wouldn't have run a 275/35/18 on a 10" wheel. But hey whatever...

You would have been fine running the 295/35/18s on a 10" wheel. They would fit fine at stock height, not sure what your plans are for lowering.

BFG sizes are usually pretty dead on. I would run a 9" wheel with a 275.

The first picture is the 275/35/18 BFG KDW2s on a AR Rebel 18/10 out back, the second is the BFG KDW2 on a 18/9 inch, and the last is the side profile of the 18/9 with 275/35/18 and out back 18/10 with 295/35/18 BFG DRs. Which to me is the perfect fit, but if you want major rubbing and possibly tire blowout with the 295/35/18s on a 18/10 up front, be careful! Later
