Default B.C. smoothie II vs torque thrust 2

just bought a 99 ta and am planning on dropping it 2" along with replacing the wheels. I'm torn between boyd coddington smoothie II's and american racing torque thrust 2's. Can i get buy with 17x9.5 all around after the drop? How about 18x9.5?

Yeah you can get by with either of those sizes as long as you go with the right offset. I vote for TT2's, but really you cant go wrong with either one in my opinion.

Had the JYD's. Was disappointed w/ them. They fit in much better on "old" muscle, IMO. Just didnt do it for me. I have pics if youre interested. Otherwise i'd say go w/ the Smoothies. Custom, nice fat lip, and a LOT less played. I vote for 18x9-18x10 combo, w/ plain center caps!

I had both on my old TA....here are the Smoothie 2s:

Here are the TT2s:

I liked the Smoothies better...I liked the lip and the fact that they were 18s. I just always thought the 18s looked better on F-bodies.

Those pics show exactly how the curves of the TT2 match the 4th Gen WS6 much better than the Smoothie II's.
