Balancing ET Drags
I recently bought new weld prostars and new et drags for this upcoming race season im wondering if its even worth getting them balanced as im going to be burning them off anyway. I did get my previous set of et streets (slick) balanced but im wondering if its even worth it to get these balanced.

id say no. if the tires arent bolted onto the rim the tires usually slide like a fraction of an inch around the wheel on every launch. this would mess up your balance anyway after a bunch of runs.

i would balance all tires, ive even balanced back half cars' tires. if it can fit on the balancer i balance it, i didnt balance the drag radials on my car and my seat shakes all the way down the freeway and track.

I forgot to add im running these tubeless and there not screwed to the wheel. I could probobly get these balanced if I wanted to. I just want the car going straight down the track. I did get my et streets balanced I just figured if there gonna get burned off there probobly gonna go outta balance. We recently had our 03 cobra at the track et streets (slick) and we had to pull of the wheel weights because it was wobbling like crazy. But he thinks it was because he just had the tire patched and not rebalanced. I also heard et drags are more stable on the top end then the et streets (slick).
