Default c5 rim questions about largest width street tire

just curious what is the width of the rear C5 wagon rims are they 10.5?. ive had these c5's for a while now. and after weighing the 17''s today found out their lighter than my normal TA polished rims. wich surprised me since their 16'' so now im more eager to keep using my c5's since though im sure the c5 18''s will probly be about 1 lbs heavier since their supposed to be 2 lbs heavier than the c5 17''s i can now put on some meatier tires than what i currently have. and wont feel to bad about adding more weight.

i have 265/35/18 fuzion zri tires on their right now. and they just are alittle to un meaty for me. i know i know. i should have got larger tires in the first place but at the time that was all i could get. but what i dont know is what can i fit on the 18's? can i get 315's on them? if not what is the widest i can go im assuming i can get 285's on them. I'm pretty sure i got room on my car itself for 315's i already have the bump stops removed though i didnt have to.

and i know their not drag tires in any form. but is their a noticeable traction difference from say 245 or 265 street tires to 285 /315's street tires?

i believe they are 9.5's and yes you can definiately feel the difference in wider tires, the wider the foot the bigger the print, theyre going to grab the road better with a notcieable feel
