did you jack the car up by the pumpkin on the rear end??? if not then the bumpstops will keep you from putting the rear wheels on.

looking at your name I take it you have a 97 z28? If so i am pretty sure I have read on here that you need to grind down the rotor a little as they are a tad bigger then the ls1 rotors that the wheels are made for? I could be totally wrong hopefully others will chime in

No don't grind down the rotor. You need to grind the inside hub of the wheel. Don't worry, you will never notice from the outside. The rear hubs on the the LT1 cars are 1mm larger in diameter than the fronts. This problem was later corrected(I though 97, but I guess it's 98). This issue wasn't accounted for on most aftermarket wheels, and thus the wheels won't fit over our rear hubs. I had to buy a dremel tool from sears for the project. Just slowly and evenly grind the center hub out of the wheel. Take your time and make sure they fit right and flush when you are finished. The first time I used a grinding stone bit, but after I rotated my tires I found a metal cutting bit that did the job much faster for the second two wheels. This isn't an extremely common problem on LS1tech because most of the cars on here are..LS1's without this issue. It's well documented on cz28.com. I did this on all four of my 18x9.5 Chrome C6 wheels without any issues.

if you dont have a dremel. You can use a metal file. it only takes a couple minutes.
