Aftermarket 3rd gen wheels fit on a 4th gen

I'm looking at some wheels and they would look good for my SS, but they are on a 3rd gen. He says the bolt pattern are the same and the backspacing is 5.5. The rims are 17x9.5 all around. Would they fit good on the SS. Thanks

if they're for a third gen they probly won't fit on a fourth gen. they'll stick out way too far. It only works the other way around as far as I know

by close to two inches in some cases... they will most likely stick out past your fenders.
