Default 5mm too much?

I just picked up a set of AR rebels in a 17x9 with 275/40/17 and a +33mm offset. I read the offset thread and it said with a 9" wide rim, I need an offset of +38 to +56. Is this 5mm difference something I should worry about? Can't imagine it'll make too big a difference though. What do you think?

Test fit. Fronts will be more of an issue coming past the fender than the rears.

Who told you that???

Here's my 2 cents. My wheels are 18x8.5(f) and 18x9.5(r) all with a 35mm offset. The front fit fine with plenty of room between the fender lip and tire. The rears on the other hand are the ones you have to worry about. They will be sticking out and most likely contacting the fender lip, especially if you are lowered. I had to remove the rear fender lips on my bird because the lips were contacting the tires and slicing them up when I hit bumps or dips. I am lowered by the way.

So being that you have wheels with a 33mm offset you may or may not experience the same effect it all depends on your ride height.
