Default What should I do about my TT2s?

About a month ago, my girlfriend took me to a carwash near her place, and I think they used Simple Green on my aluminum TT2's. I didn't realize it at first, but needless to say, they look like **** now. Watermarks that won't come out, oxidation, and a little discoloring. it's horrible looking from up close.

I have four options:
A: have them stripped, repolished and coated again.

B: Chrome them (not really too excited about that, so I didn't photshop it)
C: Powder coat the whole wheel in black

D:Or leave the cap and edge and lugs polished (they aren't too bad, it's the rest of the wheel that looks like @ss) and do the rest black

Which would you guys do, or which do you think looks best?

I say either get them painted Chrome or just paint the spokes black and leave the lip polished........

Can't go wrong with any of your choices, just don't powdercoat "the whole" wheel black, gotta have a lip or it'll look like @ss IMO.

Ditto. They would look like smashed *** painted all black.

The gray with polished lip, lugs, and center looks killer! Or just strip and repolish the whole wheel. Prepare for some pain however.

did you try and have them acid washed? I know some detail shops to this, they just spray it on, wait 1min and hose it off. I had it done a long time ago when the wheels on my Thunderbird would NOT come clean from all the brake dust that had settled on the wheel from not cleaning them for like 6mo. It worked really good. I think there is a Meguiars wheel cleaner that does this also.

Go to an autoparts store buy some Aluminum brightner. Spray it on one wheel at a time and hose it off. They will be very dull and will almost look white. Then use a good metal polish and go to town.

I've tried the Aluminum polish from Mothers, and their mag polish, but I may have to try that aluminum brightener. But I'm really liking that last pic...

Repolish and wax them. Read my post on my buffing technique. It works like you don't believe.

I made a similar mistake once on a set of Boyd Smoothie 2s. It left some chalky white **** on the wheel that I could not get off. I had a local polisher guy bead blast them and then polish them. They looked better than when they were new. They came out much brighter. Then I had a body shop spray some really tough clear coat on them (Imron) and they came out awesome. It was $100 per wheel to blast and polish them and $100 to clear coat the set. They looked awesome.

Would a product like Wenol or semichrome buff out the waterspots and etching and also bring back a shine? seems like i would try those first. Just a suggestion.

Powdercoated with the polished lip, like my old ones. but keep the entire lip polished(not just some of the lip like in your photochop)
