So long story short, I have to replace 3 out of 4 of my tires. Without realizing it, I bought a couple 245/45/18's. My one tire that's left is the left rear and it's a 245/40/18. Would it be a bad idea to put these on? I'm thinking my best move is to just move the 245/40/18 to the front and slap the two 245/45/18's in the back. What do you guys think?

Im sure you will be fine. Its not much of a difference.

But IMO i think you should just buy one more new tire.

You will have one tire that is 25.72" and teh other three will be 26.68" OD . . . not good . . .

I'd buy the 4th one . . .
