Default Kumho Ecsta MX; cracked sidewalls

Roughly 2 years old with only 10K on them and there is a 3 inch crack leading from the sidewall around and into the contact patch.

Anyone here with these tires seen anything similar.

I bitched about the original Goodyear F1's having the same issue. Two of them went flat via sidewall cracks.

No, I don't use tire conditioners either. I must just be cornering wayyyy to hard.

And before anyone says it....no they are not dry rotted from sitting in the garage.

I haven't noticed a cracking issue with my Kuhmo MX's . . . .

I might just be an unlucky sob. I searched around today and its doesn't seem anyone has had this issue with them.

man i've pushed some cheap and expensive tires hard in the turns, especially at autox, and haven't seen similar cracking (not to discount your observations), and I only say that to raise the question, is it where you park? Do you hit a particular bump or series of weird bumps in your commute?

Or you could just be unlucky,

had them for 25k and they were good tires.

u should start coating your tires thats probally the problem
