Default Whos Running DRs on 16x8s?

Ok, so I just got my 18s about 2 1/2 or 3 months ago, and my stock 16x8s are just sittin in my shed. I dont put them on in the winter, I never feel like doing it. I just drive very slow or not at all if it snows. Sooo, I want to put some drag radials on them. What size do you guys think would be best? I'm definately doing at least a 255. What are some suggestions on some good Drag Radials. I'm thinkin its between BFGs or Mickey Thompsons. I dont have much power really. I'm nearly stock. I want about a 26" tall tire, no smaller, because I am eventually going with 4.10s. Any pics would be great also.

I use 16x8's with some nitto DR's 255/50/16 and they hook well and I can get 1.5's 60 foot times all day long. If you have a auto and not many mods then they would hook great if you heat them up well. Get too sticky and boom goes the rear.

same here except with BFG DRs, drop the pressure down to about 17 at the track, and it hooks up nice.

Put my stockers back on, to see if I could get a better time at the track. my previous best with the stock wheels was a 13.22 at 107. My best with the new wheels was a 13.4 at 106. I have two different brand tires on the old rims. Toyo Proxes and Kumho Ecstas. I put the toyos in the rear (theyre older. I figured I would just toast em)... Here are some ugly pics...

I put the stock wheels on the front too, just didnt take a pic.
I cant believe I ever drove on these ugly things... But anyway, I ended up pulling a 13.030 at 109.52mph with a 2.029 60ft. I dropped the toyos down to 16 psi (I know, not too safe) and still had traction problems.

Dude don't waste your money on Nitto's or BFG's. Get the M/T's! You won't be dissapointed. I ran consistent 11.30's last Sunday with 255/50/16's.

When did Nitto start making DRs in that size?? As far as I know, only MT and BFG made that size DR.

Well a buddy of mine is switching from the BFGs to M/Ts very soon. hes got an 11 sec 07 mustang. although he isnt running the same size as me, Im gonna wait to see if the M/Ts work out better for him I think. Then I'll deside. I think his best 60ft with he BFGs was a 1.7 on 275-50-15s

I have the hoosier drag radials n there perfect for the street. I havent taken the car to the track yet. But on the street i can launch them out the hole at 2500 after heatin them up n dropping the psi down to 17 w/ no problem.

Actually, IMHO the stock wheels looked way better than the c6 wheels.
