Default prostar on 96 formula

thinking about prostars for my car. i know you have to grind caliper on the ls1 cars, but do you have to on the lt1's? will a spacer fix the issue? if so what size, and any disadvantages to running a spacer?

just a little grinding as i'm running lt1 rear brakes. mainly just remove the ribs off the caliper then a little on the sides, not too hard to do if you grind some them use a paint maker on them and place the rim on the lugs then spin it a bit to see where the paint rubs off

I believe they just put in ARP studs, then run a small spacer up front with no grinding, I believe it's a 5/16" spacer, but a search would probably pull it up. I know on a thirdgen which has smaller front brakes I don't run a spacer at all on my welds.
