315 sumi's lasted maybe 8-10k for me.. but they'd spin through 4th.. all in all for how cheap they were they werent a bad DD tire. just dont try and race much of anything from a dig with em or in my case even a 60 roll

8-10K for real?? I got well over 15k with my Nitto's! that lost my appeal in them- I was considering sumi's for my next street tire- and getting a 15" drag set up....I think I'll stick with the DR's...cost 1.5 times the cost- but get 1.5-twice the mileage...and hook.

i love my sumitomos............. mine have 4,000 miles on them and they hook up enough that i am worried about the rear end from a dig........ and i hardly spin in first and second....... no reason to hate for 100 dollars a tire. Personally i think its a waste of money to get gsd3s that are gonna last me the same miles......... when i can get sumis and an extra set of wheels with drag radials for the same price and get double the miles out of them............ but i guess your guys pockets are healthier than mine!

Those tires suck, period. I had them on a set of ZR1's when I was going to sell the car because they were cheap. They were almost scary to drive on, and they weren't very good at all in any kind of condition. They broke loose all the time, it made turning at any kind of speed nerve racking, and stopping was even worse. I'm easy on my car day to day, but when some idiot or animal jumps out infront of you these tires won't cut it, they hamper braking distance. I don't advise buying them because they are cheap. You've got to pay to play in this hobby and if you play cheap it will catch up to you.

I'm running the 315 sumi's now and they work perfect for my application which is DD. Oh and yes there mounted on a set of Fikse wheels to
The quote below definitely applies here. I would never put Sumi's on my Fikse's, they deserve better!

Probably the most intelligent quote regarding these tires ever!

Well I drive very easy and they haven't scared me yet. I figured I would catch some flack for putting sumi's on a set of Fikse, but I thought I would give them a shot and there only on the rears. I may go with something different next.

Those tires are HORRIBLE. I put them on our GTO right before we had to give it back on the Smart Buy. Our bone stock '04 automatic GTO would break them loose....from a roll....lol

Don't pay any attention to the nay-sayers.Its obvious they've never tried Sumi's . I was the same way till I tried a set - 245/50/16's . They look aggresive and dropped my ET from 13.60's to 13.20's with no other changes . Remember now they are a (SUMMER TIRE) so in the winter you have to get um really hot & smokey .Love mine. And the best part other than the price was you don't have to use any weights on them. They come perfectly balanced from the factory. Hows that for a "cheap" tire. Can you say that about your so called "high dollar" tire ?

A sharp looking tire with a nice sidewall. For a street tire you get a lot of bang for the buck. They will pull 1.90 60' all day with a good burnout. You can't beat them for the price.

That was by far the stupidest comment I have ever heard!! First off, no tire EVER comes PERFECTLY balanced from the factory. And if the tire shop that mounted them up told you this, go back, kit whoever did it straight in the nuts, and ask for a refund.

They are exactly what they are, a CHEAP tire. The only thing I think they are worthy for is a big smoky burnout. Other than that I will stay with my Nittos.
