What do you have on your rear wheels? Are 305's 315s worth the extra$?
What i just got from my tire calculator
http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html
295/35 r18= 26.1x13.1 what i have now on rear wheels
305/35 R18+26.4x13.2 what a waste over 295's!
315/30 r18= 25.4x17.7 maybe?
315/35 r18= 26.7x13.3 They need to make this one!
275/40 r17= 25.7x12.8 on the front of my car

It depends on what you want to do with it. There are some excelent tires in the 295.35.18 that would last a little longer if you are looking for a good DD tire. If you are looking for more grip the 305.35.18 or the 315.35.18 would hook better. 555R's are reasonably priced in those sizes.

They dont make a 315/35r18. If they did i would get them because then it would be worth it. The 315/30's are to short for me and the 305's are basicly the same size as the 295s and not worth the extra $40-$60 more per tire!
