Default 17x11 & 315 nittos!!

hey guys would i have any issues fitting a nitto 315 DR lowered on some 17x11 zr1? i believe the offset is +50 for the rears. i hear the nittos are narrow so it shouldnt be a problem.

Depends on how low you are and whether or not the rearend is centered. Some cars rub more than others, too, as the body tolerances aren't always super tight. That is the correct offset, and I've also heard that Nittos run narrow compared to other 315/35/17 tires.

I have the same springs, but I was running Goodyear GSD3's on my ZR1's. These are notoriously among the (if not THE) widest 315's out there. Mine rubbed like crazy, and I got tired of it, so I swapped my rims for a set of 17x9.5 FM5's and never looked back.

One word of advice: You'll have to jack up the rearend by the differential housing. Many people think their 315's don't fit because they hit the bumpstops when they're trying to bolt them on, but it's because the axle is hanging (i.e. jackstands under the frame rails). If you jack up by the axle, you won't have that problem.

I had them on mine with 11's and the barely rubbed. Usually if it hit a dip and someone was in the car. I had to use the BFH on a few spots. Make sure you have an adjustable panhard rod.

Dont have them myself....only have 245/50/16 nittos But from what I hear all over the board they deffinately run narrow. So with an adjustable PHR and probably minimal big fuc**** hammering, you will be fine!

You beat me to this post, I have the same setup but not installed yet. I feel like the nittos definitely run narrow for a 315. I am mounting them on the wheels this weekend and I'll let you know how it goes. I have the stock slp suspension, but I definitely for see beating the inner fender well. Anyone run this setup with strano springs b/c I have plans on lowering the car in the spring. If so what did you have to do to make it fit?

I have them on my 99 SS. Stock ride height. No rubbing at all whatsoever. No BFH mod.

I'm running them with the suspension mods in sig. I'de get a rod/rod panhard bar so there is no flex. Mine have minimal rubbing. I don't notice it when driving but there is a little polished spot in the inner fenderwell where the sidewall apparently rubbed.

basically all the adjustable panhard rod does is properly center the rear. The Nitto's do run very narrow. They were barely wider than the 285/40/17 BFG KDW tires I had before.
I let one of the wheels down and noticed the lip of the wheel hit and not so much the sidewall.
