You can take some brake cleaner and rub the white chalk off

I figured they were just trying to save there ***.I know there isnt 1 drag radial out there that will be safe in the rain i was just wondering more if they would be safe to drive back and forth to the track and all which is a 40-45min. commute 4 me and would hate to have these thing's explode from taking the constant heat.....

I drove et drags non street legal for quite a bit on the street and me and a few buddys got caught in the rain on slicks after a car show that sucked because we could only do like 20-25 because we were all over the place et drags arent that good in the rain. Those hoosier drag radials look like they suck in the rain also but I heard they hook pretty good. Atleast the mt et street radials have some tread pattern. Ur tires should be fine to drive on they probably wont explode from heat because they probably get hotter on the burnout.

So i take that as a no??? My biggest problem is i dont wanna have to bring another pair of wheels a jack and a impact gun i'd rather do it at home then loading all that crap into the car and taking it all to the track with me.....

I ran MT DR's on the street for over 6 months, zero problems, Just do not get caught in the rain especially with a Detroit locker rearend, anything over about 20 mph and you are an accident waiting to happen.

I ran those tires all of last year. Think my best 60ft was a 1.50. They didn't do to bad on the road either.

There are no other safety issues that I am awear of, other than the fact that they are not at all safe in the rain. However, they shouldn't last long (miles wise) according to all accounts. Also, be very careful on really cold pavement. Don't mash it to the floor going 55 mph.

They can handle it. They put the discalimer on there for people that would try and drive them everyday in all the weather you can imagine. Liability issue.
