Default Its Amazing!!!

Well my Black ZR1s I thought were ruined and couldnt be fixed, tried all kinds of wheel cleaners but nothing seemed to work. Meguires hot wheels was the only thing that kinda worked, then i got to thinking and remembered the wheels are painted so it should work just like regular paint on the car right. Well tried the Clay Bar kit i had on the wheels and holy **** it worked and got the caked on brake dust off with ease. Some of the stuff i was for sure would never come out came out with ease, when i first used the claybar it felt like i was running it on sandpaper. Now its smooth as glass and no more brake dust. All thats left is to use some buffing compound and bring out the ultimate shine. Just thought i would tell everyone, just incase someone is havin the same problem.

Its just like it says basically a bar of clay that you kneed and rub along the contaminated areas and it lifts the dirt off. The important part is to keep it lubricated and kneed it once that side you use gets dirty. They sell it at autozone and any autoparts store, I got the meguires clay bar kit.

just make sure you keep the area lubricated and kneed the claybar, since it is brake dust it will take alittle elbow grease to get off but it will come off.

Usually the more complicated crap gets, the worse it works

Yep.. claybar can do some wonderful things with smoothing out paint. Now if you want shine... then u get into the polishes, glazes, and waxes - but that's as much reading/experience as learning what mods work and what mods you want to make ur car as fast as u want it (LOTS, i know ) but much less expensive.
