do i have to run longer wheel studs on the rear or can i use the stockers with diff. lug nuts, i dont race at all, maybe in the future.

Yes you need 3.25" long studs with spacers and grinding of the calipers. Shorter studs threading will not protude deep enough into the hex portion of the lug-nut.

Weld Draglites use a shank style lug nut that goes down inside the wheel. You will NOT need to change studs for street use, just make sure you have the correct shank style lug nut. Now when you start to race, an open end lug nut will let the tech inspector at your track verify that you have full engagment of the lug nut, without removing it. At that point you may need longer studs. The proper lug nuts for the Weld Draglites have a 1.310" long shank with a .687" diameter.

i still use stock studs with my weld 15 x 10 drag lites. 7.5" backspacing. 275/50-15 nitto DRs. no spacers. just alot of grinding to get to clear. i drive everyday on them.

what SJM says holds true, to pass tech at the track. the studs must be at least flush with the outer portion of the lug.
