Question Wheels size 82-92 firebird/ trans am

I am looking to get new shoes for my 92 bird and wanted the lip in the back for a more aggressive look but was un sure if 10.5 wheels will fit in the back? so if anyone knows please help me out or if they have pics that would be awesome too. thanks

i've seen 17x11s on the back of 3rd gens...they look nice.

just have to get the right backspacing/offset. offhand i don't know what it is the the 3rd gens.

9.5" with a 5.5 backspace is the most common and requires no mods. 10" with a 6-6.125 backspace works well too. Additional backspacing requires hammering the inner fenderwells and cutting off the bump stops. Lots of guys run 11" rears, but IMO, they stick out too far. Lots of good info at thirdgen.org.
