Default wheel Cleaner

What would you guys recommend to clean my rims, they have water spots all over

when i first bought my car i used mothers polish and took me about 2 housrs per wheel. they stayed clean for about 2-3 days then it rained and they were the same as before

do you guys know of any product that will remove all those spots easier, without all the hassling.

thanks in advance

i there a way to clear coat them or something so they dont get water marks, because my rims as soon as they get wet theyll be spotted, and not just lightly, its like if the water had acid or something!
