tire size help
hey just put a 1.2 inch vogtland loweing kit on a friends car (he liked mine) and he wants to know what the biggest 18 inch rim / what tire size he can go with would be. lil help?

since that not a huge lowering, i'd stick with the stock height... if u want same size all around, go with 9.5" wide with 275/35's all around... or if u wanted staggered, go with 8.5" with 245/40's or 9" with 265/35s up front and a 10" with 285/35's in the back...
heights...
245/50x16 = 25.6" stock
275/40x17 = 25.7" stock
245/40x18 = 25.7"
265/35x18 = 25.3"
275/35x18 = 25.6"
285/35x18 = 25.9"
295/35x18 = 26.1"

245/40/18 michelin pilot sport a/s tires are on mine now, and i have an 18x8.5 on there now...and it rubs a little in the front, thats why im asking. thanks for the help though, that means i wasnt too far off, and well just bump him down a size, he should be fine
if anyone knows how to get rid of it, my rubbin issue i mean (all i need is like an extra half inch in the plastic splash gaurd) please help lol would spacers or "hub centric rings" help?
