Desperately Need Opinions on Two Wheel Choices (Yes Have Pics)
So I'm been jumping back and forth between two wheel choices for the last while and can't seem to get anywhere so I thought I'd ask the jury. Wheel choice number one is the current wheels on my car (ADR X-factors 19x8.5) which I love the look of, but are just to damn narrow out back and rather large. Seen here:
If I were to keep these rims I'd look into getting the rears widened by those weldcraft folks I've read so much about. Most likely to a 10.5 rear.
Second choice is the ever popular TT2 which is a rim I like very much and in 17'' has lots of drag radial potential, and 11 wide option. Seen here (Ignore stock hood and drop, thats gonna happen either way):
So far I can see that for the ADR's
- More Rare
- Looks good and easier to clean (painted)
- Kind flows with the angles of the formula panels
- Less tire options/$$$$
- Slows car down
And for the TT2
- Easier to get
- Will for sure look good
- 315 dr's...mmmm dr's
- Very common
Cost will be roughly the same either route, and the car is just my weekend/fun car, with some track duty once I get more power.
Thoughts welcome PLEASE

I have TTII's on my TA - but for some reason don't like them on yours (might be cause of the photochop)
Out of the two I'd go for the ADR's and if widened - to 11" in rear.
Good choice on getting rid of the aftermarket vette 'stinger' like hood... I'm a big fan of not using hoods that look like different car hood - like the camaro's that install the aftermarket RamAir TA hood - looks like *** - if you wanted the looks of a TA then you should have bought one...

You know, I had gotten so stuck on these choices the thought of another wheel hadn't even come into my mind. I'll try to research some simple 5 spokes as suggested. Any more input is welcome as always, and I know, its my choice in the end.

X-Factors are my choice out of the two but the narrow rear's would bother me too. Maybe try a thin spacer on back with some longer studs and try putting on a wider tire. That will get the rim closer to the fender well lip like the TT2s and appear meatier out back. Just a suggestion!
