Default another reason to not use wheelmax

ordered a set of aza zo1 rims from them for my 2000 trans am. got em a month ago, everything looked good, but ive been noticing a slight vibration in the car over 65. so i called them and the conversation went something like this.
i asked if i needed the hub centric rings.
he said probably.
i asked what he meant by probably
he said you could get away without them, and it probably wouldnt screw things up.
i told him i wanted them shipped, he said youd be better off going to an auto parts store.
i told him they should have come with the order.
he said he agreed
so i asked him when theyd be shipped.
he said its been 2 months we wont ship
i told him i didnt even know i needed them
he said it was my responsibility.
i told him **** if it is, im buying rims and an INSTALLATION PACKAGE INCLUDING HUB CENTRIC RINGS IF NEEDED.
he said and i quote " well then you should have made sure they got shipped then shouldnt you"
i told him i wanted to speak to a supervisor
he said he was one
i asked to speak to a gm
he said he was unavailible.
i asked to speak to another supervisor and i got a flat out no.
i hung up, and called back, explained my situation, and now i got someone to listen to the story, im returning the rims for half price(and oh man am i gonna wreck these things first im debating sending em back in pieces. they will be sooooo unrma-able, and im getting myself a set of ruff racing rims. the second guy was very helpful, but im sending em back wreckin em and taking the 50% loss. i refuse to have these things on my car one day longer then i have to.

Wow, that sucks, talk about lousy customer service.

I was thinking of going with Wheelmax wheels....now I'm thinking I'll look elsewhere.

And you're right...it does mention the rings in the description of the installation package. They should have sent them to you in the first place.

Sorry to hear that. Send them back and don't worry about it. Or you could have them refund some of your money and buy some hub rings somewhere else. Good thing you and the others are posting on there customer service.

The reason for the vibration is because the wheel is not making contact with the hub. Plus the wheels bolt pattern is not exact. You might have the same issue with the ruff's.
