Arrow ~~~ DPE Forged Wheels - Group Purchase! ~~~

In order to help get DPE's name out there in the GM world, I've asked them for a group purchase for F-bodies. They have built several wheels for Corvettes (I had the first set on my C6) but no 4th gen F-bodies yet. These are top-quality 2-piece forged wheels.

Price: $2748 per set, plus shipping (this is 20% off of list)
Only sizes available: 18x9 and 18x10
Any "R-Series" wheel design. All are the same price. www.DPE-wheels.com
Standard finish is silver powdercoated face with polished lips
18" wheel weights are typically 20-23 lbs each, depending on design.
Rear wheel lip size is about 3 inches.

Options:
Wheels can be built with or without rivets, your choice.
Finishes Available: polished, brushed, silver, gunmetal, or black powder coat

Powder coated silver faces (standard finish) $0
High polished faces - add $180 per set
Powder coated gunmetal or black faces - add $200 per set
Brushed Aluminum w/ clearcoat faces - add $300 per set

I am looking for a minimum of 5 orders. You will need to place a non-refundable $1,000 deposit to place the order. The rest will be due prior to delivery. If you do not have the funds available at the time of delivery, your deposit will be lost and the wheels will be resold at the pricing above. Typical delivery times are 4-6 weeks upon order date. All wheels will be ordered as soon as we receive 5 orders. Group Purchase pricing ends March 31st.

Here are some of their more popular designs:

R05:

R05-S:

R16:

R05-V:

R10:

More info would be nice. How do these compare to similarly priced wheels....CCW in particular?

I have always loved DPE wheels. The r16 is by far my favorite.

Chrome is not available for this group purchase, it costs more and takes longer.

Chevroletfreak, DPE wheels are top-quality forged wheels. They rank up there with the other popular high dollar wheels. They aren't as popular as the other brands here because they used to only build them for BMW, Mercedes, Porsche, etc... until recently. For example, here is a low budget car sporting a set of R10 wheels on it:

Posesd, these are custom built. Offsets are customizable. These aren't some huge deep-lip type wheel, but similar to iForged etc... They weigh about the same as any other forged 2-piece wheel.

I did notice a set of DPE's on a vette this past summer. Very nice looking wheel in person.

If you are curious, here is how a gloss black R05-S (19") looks, compared with a Z06 Motorsports wheel (17"):

Nice set of wheels. Too bad I already picked up a set of ruffs because the R05-s look badass and it would be pretty badass to run a set of 18x10s in the rear with 305/30/18s and 18x9s up front with 275/35/18s.

Oh well. I decided to take the extra cash and pick up a lift to gain some extra storage.

Good luck with the sale Tony.

Or better yet, do it ricer-style and just buy the front wheels. Leave the rear ones stock

Thumbs up

Check these out, they are the R05 shown above, but gloss black and without rivets. These would look killer on an f-body!

Update: We have four confirmed orders, need ONE more. Who else is tired of the same old wheels on our f-bodies? Get something FRESH.

at the black R05's.

Very tempting, but I still have my heads/cam to work on 1st. Plus I'm pretty set on going with what we've been discussing (And still unique).
