good question...was wondering if driving slicks on the street(around town,to the track) would effect there hooking performance/ability at the track.

Also do you hook better on the street or at the track. I want to put these slicks on and go down the street and pull the front wheels off the ground for a good pict.

I hope that was a joke.....With those mods you have in your sig you wont be pulling any wheels off the ground anytime soon....

Obviously we all hook better on the track. You can hook on the street, and get a wheels up shot done on the street. It just takes alot of prep to the street, VHT, and cleaning.

You say obviously but I only had my car to the track once w street tires and had no luck. My street is covered in black marks in the spring from others so I have to make my mark this spring.

O its very possiple to pull the wheels up on the street. It takes a dialed in suspension and lots of power. lots of VHT and heating up the street helps to
