Default would it be a big......

performance loss to run 17's front, but 18's in the back?
I want to run 18's but not if it's going to have a huge affect on the 1/4 strip.

It will probably slow you down a little bit. Extra mass like that is going to cause some negative side effects in the search for speed.

Well, I got a little more proof for you..

Going from stock 16x8 wheels to 17x11 wheels slowed me down a bit... I'm guessing 18s in the back would weigh bout the same, maybe a little more...

But at least it looks good!

I don't think it would be that big of a loss. When my car was stock as a rock, I ran 13.3 with 18s in the front and 19s in the back. With full exhaust and intake I ran a 12.9 with those heavy 19s on the back. I put the 16" stockers back on with drag radials and ran consistent 12.70s, but I think that was more due to the drag radials than the size of the wheel.
