Opinion's on my tire choice plz..
ok, i have new in box 2-18x10 and 2-17x9.5 polished Torque thrust 2's, the tires i chose are 295x35x18's and 275x40x17's, the cars a ws6 so it had 275's on all 4 corners stock, i didnt really feel like rollin my fenders, and i dont plan on lowering the car ANY time soon,,(the roads around here blow) the 295's should fit without any modding done to the body or removing the bumpstops or whatever right?
the tires are Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3's
ALSO, i want chrome valve stems, but nota clue where to buy them? my buddies got a car dealership (hes puttin the tires on for me & balancing them) but doesnt have anything i want... any suggestions?
thanks,
michael

Ive heard the tires are pretty damn good. I have the BFG KDW2s myself. I have 295-35 in the rear and I had to do some BFH and use an after market panhard rod. The outside of the tire looks pretty close, but i've been driving with these wheels/tires for over a year now and havn't hit the fender lip. the GSD3s are a little wider though.

Lol I think I'm ok with it, till it starts to annoy me anyways, would have to see the clearance with headers before I considered it, which kit is lower the sport lines or the pro kit?

With the prokit what all has to be done to get them to fit and would I still be able to turn corners and mountain roads like I would without scrubbing on the inside or anywhere?

When I first purchased my wheels, back in December '06, I test fitted them without any tires. In the rear, they hit the bump stops (the car was jacked up by the "frame"). So i decided to use a 5/16" spacer for the rear. This did two things: 1.) cleared the bump stops 2.) brought the wheel out flush with the quarter panel.
Once I purchased tires and put the wheels on the car (February '07), The tires had rubbed one time when I took a corner very fast (I was still at stock ride height). I then had my pro-kit installed a couple months later and the rubbing worsened. But it was still only under hard cornering. So, I purchased an adjustable panhard rod from UMI. This helped me center the rear, but the rubbing was still there. So I broke down, and did the BFH mod (Big Fu**ing Hammer mod) and "massaged" the inner wheel well where it was rubbing. After that, the rubbing was gone. I can now take corners as fast as I want.
Again, I am using BF Goodrich KDW2 tires, which are quite as wide as a GSD3 and I have 5/16" spacers. So you may need to do a little bit more BFH.
