Default Where to buy ZR1 wheels?

I'm not a fan of being chastised for wanting to purchase a set of wheels... The girls at Tomz Wheels were put out to say the least over my request to have a set of ZR1 11" wheels drop shipped to my house by Friday.... and I even offered to pay for the additional shipping cost if that was an issue...

Must be a manic Monday for those girls... and it was too much work to make a phone call to their vendor to coordinate….

Anyways, where do you guys recommend for a set of 50mm ZR1 11" wheels?

Thanks

Hmmm, hopefully those ones have the right offset and get there on time. Good luck!

They're the correct offset and the vendor will have them by Thursday...

Then I get to see if the lip profile is what I'm looking for. Yay!

You think it's possible that they didn't have the wheels in stock and that it wasn't going to be possible to have them drop shipped to him directly from the supplier? Maybe the girl on the phone was new and didn't know how to deal with this request.

Bottom line is there are scores of people on here that have recieved excellent service from Tomzwheelz, myself included. The number that has recieved great service is considerably higher than those who have not.

I wish my experience was the same... oh well.

So did you buy the 11" version? If so, was the lip profile similar to the stock wheel or was it deeper?

I'll ask you the same question man...

Does your 11" wheel have the same lip profile as your stock wheel, or is it deeper?

Thanks

Just so we're all on the same page, the girl on the phone is the one that told me that they did not have them in stock and that they would be shipped to me directly from their vendor in Colorado.

All I wanted was for them to give the vendor a call to see when the wheels would actually ship and the ETA to my house. And if regular ground shipping wouldn't get them to my house by Friday, then I was willing to pay for quicker shipment.

The girl, and some other girl were condescending to say the least...

That's all.

You know, this couldn't be any more true of ANY business I know of for the most part. It's just the bad experiences are always voiced, or at least 90% of them. I'm a service advisor and I get graded by owners of vehicles for the first year of ownership. You bet your tail if their $40,000 car breaks once they slam me.
It sucks that we all don't spend the energy to praise or recognize good service like we do when it's not what we expect. This is in no way flaming the OP, you simply stated what happened.
