Best drag wheels???
I have a set of draglites and I am going to either have to sell the rears or sell as a whole set and buy a new set because I have a narrowed rear now. What are the best drag wheels? I have a TA and it will be a track only car. Obviously the cheaper route will be to sell my rears and buy the correct offset, but I am debating on just getting a different set. Pics would be great

Yeah. I know that some of them are pricey but the car will not be done this year so I have time. Are you referring to the Bogarts? Those are the ones I was thinking of changing too.

Anybody got any pics of a black ta with the gold weld magnums on it?? My buddy has a set of the polished magnums that I can get cheaper, but I want to see how the gold ones look on a black ta first.

Brake configuration can impact your decisions. Considering our Bogart wheels or high-end welds would be your best bet.
This is one circumstance where I can say our wheels are less expensive than a typical full set of high-end welds. Whichever you choose, you would not be unhappy. Both are among the lightest on the market...

The car will have strange or aerospace drag brakes. I think I will go the route of a spindle setup so I can use the 1st gen brakes because they are cheaper and a little weight savings. If I get another set of wheels, then I want the lightest set that will work with those brakes and look good.
Are you referring to the Bogarts? Or do you carry another wheel that you are talking about? Can you pm me a price for a wheel with correct backspacing for a narrowed rear (3in per side)? And I will be running minitubs with a 325/50

Give me a call if you need more assistance. We do not PM messages on the boards. We use e-mails and phones. Since we build the wheels custom, designs vary as well as pricing. Your situation would probably work best via phone for the quickest answers as well as meeting your goals.
I'm the Engineer here, I design and setup Bogart wheels, I have no connection or offer weld products. I was only giving you a comparison that you'd be happy with either setup. We can build the lightest wheels on the market. I'd consider Strange products over Aerospace brakes...I can assist you with questions on that topic as well.
Side of advice...I'd reconsider the tires you're looking at...they are VERY heavy.

Well, the class I am going to run is a 325/50 radial class. I will go with something else for other races. I will give you a call as soon as I make my mind up and get rid of what I have. I looked at your gallery and I have an idea of the wheel I would like. Thanks

Due to your considerations, I'd suggest looking at our P2 designs. Smaller center sections leaving less rotating mass...and moving mass towards the center of rotation. I can build a front runner down to ~6.75lbs!
