I use Eagle 1 Nano Polish and a Mother's Powerball. It took about an hour for all my rims and they came out deep. It's a thick paste and it will clean and polish the hell out of your rims.

Mothers Chrome polish is also very good. In winter weather I try to clean my chromies on both the Firebird and the T/A at least twice a week.
Some people think it's overkill, but they look brand new... no pitting or flaking.
If you keep them pretty clean all the time, it doesn't take very long. When you let it build up, that's when the damage can be done.
