Talking Rims for GXP?

I just got a 2006 Pontiac Grand Prix GXP and I want to put differnt rims on it. But I read that they engineered the car differntly and something about the front tires are bigger than the rears? Something is differnt and when I went to like tirerack.com they have the GTP listed but not the GXP does anybody know if this is going to be a problem and where I could get rims?
Thanks

Yeah, GM gave the GXP wider front wheels than rear wheels to reduce torque steer. I'm not exactly sure what your wheel options are, but if you check in on the GXP forum at www.clubgp.com I'm sure you'll get your answer. It's a great board with very knowledgeable people.

Good luck and enjoy the GXP, they're great cars with a lot of speed potential!
