Default how much can ya grind?

I bought a set of Center Line front runners like 8th party for a ls1.I have no clue of what the exact rim demestions are but it has a 185/65 R15 tire on it.I went and got the LONG lug nuts from work came home went to test fit'em and the caliper is in the way.Its a stock caliper on a 01 Z28.

How much can I grind off?

I dont think its a good idea BUT can i shim the rim?

you might want to consider getting a 5/16 spacer, and then getting longer wheel studs, thats what the common thing to do is as opposed to grinding the front calipers
you may even need a 7/16 spacer, i am not real familiar with the center lines

this site is here for people to ask questions, thats what its all about
if you race at a track where tech checks your car, you will wanna make sure they are plently long enough. the common length to get is 3.25. you could probably go a little shorter than that if you dont worry about tech checkin your car.
