Default Torn on what tires to go with- Nitto, MT, Hoosier

Well I'm in the process of trying to sell my Z06/MT setup. I am looking to get into a set of ZR-1's because I've always loved the look, not to mention the opportunity to go 11" in the rear.

So I am looking at tires in the 315 range. I currently have MT's and like them alot. I really would like to be able to fit a 335 back there but don't think I'm gonna be able to. I am looking at Nitto 555R, MT ET Street Radials and the Hoosier DR's. I know that the MT's and Hoosiers will hook like mad and the Nitto's get the best mileage. Which one would you guys recommend?

I notice that everyone says that the Nittos usually run alot smaller than a standard 315 but when I was looking up tread width on Summit and Jegs they had them listed as the following:

Nitto 315- 12.13"
MT 315- 11.7"
Hoosier 315- 11.1"
Hoosier 335- 12.4"

From this it looks that the Nittos are wider than both the MT's and the Hoosiers of the same size. Originally I really wanted to go with the Hoosiers but with a rim width of 11" and a tread width of 11.1" I think that would look stupid. Could I fit that 335 on there? It's 12.4" wide which I think would fit great on that wheel. And according to Summit and Jegs it's only .27" smaller than the Nitto's that everyone is calling small... What do you guys think?

Thanks,
Drew

Well if you want the best mileage of course the nittos are going to last the longest but if it was up to me and money not really a issue, I would go with the MTs.

Good luck with whatever your decision is cause a 315 or 335 is still going to look damn sick on the car!

Alright, it's between the MT's and Hoosiers. Will I be able to fit that 335 Hoosier on there? It seems that they run a little thin...12.4"
