255/60/15 BFGs
How are these for a street tire? Not the d-radials, just the standard BFG radials, i'm looking to get these on my 15" Prostars wheels for the back, does anyone run these, do they have good traction?
My situation is, i would like some 275/50/15s @ 26" tall, but knowone carrys them in stock, so i figured the next best thing would be the 255/60/15s because i'm still running the stock rear behind my 6sp. & don't want to risk D-Radials, plus don't want to kill off too much gear also, the tires i'm running now are 255/40/17 Cooper Zions, they are just over 25" tall, the 255/60/15s are 27" tall, i'm thinking this shouldn't hurt me too much, but i wanted to know if there a decent traction tire if i was to compare them to the Cooper Zion 17". Pix of a 255/60/15 would be nice if anyone has them, would like to see how they fit, i have a 15/8 wheel.
I can get a pair of the 255/60/15 BFGs mounted @ balanced, new v stems, out the door for 228.00, is this a fair price?
Thanks for any help.
