New black C6 stockers on...
I got a set of C6 wheels off an '07. I was going to do a write up on painting them black but the wheels were new & it was so easy a write up would be pointless. I used the Duplicolor wheel paint & clear + some adhesion promoter. The tires are Pirelli 295/30/19 rears and 275/35/18 up front. I used a 1 1/4" adapter for the rears. I also lowered the car with some pretty nice off-brand shocks and springs. I didnt go for the popular suspension combo b/c Im on a budget and Im not a race car driver. The drop is around 2" so it took a little bfh and some fender rolling to loose the rub in the rear. My car is 10 1/2 years old and it has 125k, I know its far from perfect so Id appreciate if you didnt point out the imperfections, I know what they are. Ive had it for 6 years, Ive taken pretty good care of it. I plan on lightly nightshading my corners and tails as soon as the weather clears up. I apoligize for the shitty pics, its raining and the cars dirty but there are a few people wanting to see the set up. I hope everyone enjoys!

It's the Duplicolor spray. Its nice and thick and dries really hard, especially the clear. I was messing around spraying stuff before I used it on the wheels, it's pretty neat. I ended up using one can on each wheel and used 2 cans of clear for the four.

The rear is nearly perfectly square, the car is sitting in an uneven gravel driveway.

i normally **** on solid black wheels but those actually look hot on that car! I think the reason they look so good is you went with an 18/19 combo instead of 17/18 so the bigger wheels pull off the black look a little nicer!
For a 10 yr old car i think it looks DAMN good!

Thanks for all the kind comments guys! I picked up some black lug caps that look great but I only could find 10.
I'll get some better pics up before long when I get all the caps on and nightshade done. Ive been pretty busy and have been putting off the car for a couple days.
