i have some of those in 245/35/20, 215/35/18, and 215/40/18. i like them them a lot. they worked well in the rain for me. pricing makes it much better. the tread looks good. 245/35/20 grip was better than my eagle rsa 245/50/16 at the track and about even with my dunlop 255/40/18 which both were giving me consistent 2.1x 60 foots. the sidewall seemed to be getting hard on mine though. the molded words/ect were starting to fall off. i'd say for the first 20-30k miles they would be my first choice for daily driving. price plays a good part in this. i don't have experience with comparing them directly with another brand in the same tire size though.
i'm currently on vredestein 245/35/19 and 275/30/19 that i got only $85 more over the nankangs current ebay price. i got the vredesteins due to all of the hype. not too impressed thus far on the vredesteins and would have prefered to have the nankangs for less the price. if my local tire shops had the nankangs in those sizes and price at the time, i wouldn't have hesitated to get them again.
