I am trying to figure out which gears to buy, 3.73 or 3.90. Do you guys run 28" slicks with enough clearance? Whats the actual loaded height on a typical 28" slick?

if your only running 3.73s then a 28 slick will kill you. I vote 4.10s at least with a 28" tire. Based on what I see in your sig. If your going to go 3.73 or 3.90 then stick with a 26"

I have 4.10 and run a 28" tire.... if not i would run outa gear.....

I agree camaro396. Right now a 26 will be fine. Next year if i am trapping higher which i should be i may need a 28".
With 3.73's a 25" ride height slick would give me about 132 speed and 3.90's look like 126-127.
Thats for next year, this year 120-122 prly.

I'm running 4.10's and with a 150 shot I'm running out of gear big time with stock tires. I have some 28" tall slicks I am going to mount though.
