Default 54mm C5 wheels. No spacers needed?

yes another C5 wheel question. In my searches most people who get the c5 wheels 18 inch have the 65mm offset. They have to use spacers or the bfh mod. I found some 18 c5 wheels with a 54mm offset. WILL THIS SOLVE THAT PROBLEM. Will that get rid of the tucked in wheel look so many people have trouble with with c5s????????????????????????

They should fit fne. They will come out a little farther with the lower offset and they are only 9.5 inches wide where most are running a 10.5 wide rim. The smaller width will not help you on the tucked in look though.

Would this wheel be set in further than the stock trans am wheel. Both front and back? If i do get a 10.5 wide with 65mm offset. Would all i need is say a inch spacer and nothing more?. Sorry for all the questions. Looking at the cray wheels too but they are 65mm. Only the 9 wide have 50mm.

Default Wheel offsets

I have 53mm offsets front and rear and I think they are perfect. They are 18x9.5 in the front and 18x10.5 in the rear. I did not have to do any hammering to the car to get them to fit either. I also have a adjustable panhard bar so I could center the rear end in the car.

This is the closest "rear end" shot that I have.

if you run a 1" spacer, you would likely also need longer wheel studs.
