Default Stock Rims Flaking......

I don't know what I should do, I have the 2000 WS6's and in the corners of the rims the chrome coating is starting to flake off...

How do I fix this?

New Rims? Re Chrome (Prices?)?

I can post some pics if that would help....

If they're chrome plated, they're not factory. Those wheels were never offered in chrome, only polished aluminum and painted silver for 1996 only. Pics will help. However, if your chrome is flaking, then you will either have to get them re-chromed or stripped and polished.

I have the same problem on mine. The "fake chrome" is flaking off around the valve stems. Before this the same coating flaked off from inside the wheel and was flapping against the calipers. It made stupid sounds like putting baseball cards in your bike wheels.

Anyways, as far as price is concerned I just saw some billet wheels for around 900 to 1300 for a set of 4. You might as well just buy something that wont flake instead of trying to repair the factory rims.
