Default What Wheels On A Silver Z28?

Have not seen too many posts about Silver Z28s...What wheels are you guys running on yours? I was thinking if it was lowered, a set of 17x9 and 17x11 black ZR1s would look good.

The colored wheel sticky helps a lot. Personally I REALLY like the black wheels on silver cars. Some people prefer the shine of chrome/polished though.

here's a comparison....16" chrome stockers vs. 17" gunmetal/black 35th LE wheels on my car. I loved the look that chrome has against a silver car, but I couldn't stand the 16's and crappy tires anymore. I think the gunmetal/black combo gives it a more "mean" or "angry" look rather than a flashy look that chrome gives. Try something different...everyone and their mom has chrome or black ZR1's, but I guess, do what you like because in the end its your car, not ours!!

yea those 35th anniversary LE's look nice with silver camaros the black goes real well. Also look into ruff racing, ccw's (if you wanna spend the money), or a black and polished lip wheel would look nice

Default 35th Anniversary LE wheels

I decided I'm just going to wait until I get enough cash to get a set of 35th Anniversary LE wheels. People who are selling them seem to price them pretty high, so if I see a good deal, I'm going to jump on them.

IMO, you need wheels with a little bit of black to set it off, unless you go with chrome with wide gaps between the spokes.

Here's a thread on silver F-bodies:

make your own 35th wheels.....buy silver 10 spokes and paint them yourself (which is what I did) or drop $3-400 on powdercoating if you want it to last for a really long time. I got a great deal on my 10 spokes and the wheels I posted pics of I have less than $150 start to finish in them, including the price of the wheels.

I was really thinking 17x9 & 17x11 Chrome ZR1s until I saw a picture of a Silver Z28 with Chrome 17x9 & 17x11 ZR1s. Now I am really confused. I already have a NBM Z28 with Chrome and I figured Id go oposite with this car. I guess I should actually wait until the woman and myself actually pick the car up to decide what were going to do with it haha.
