Default Nitto NT555 Etremes 315 35 17 PICS INSIDE

275 40 17 fronts and 315 35 17 in the rear. They are about as wide as the Sumitomos and apparently Nitto now has rim guard because these tires have them. These stick to anything even the rain. I no longer spin through 1st and if it's black top then I will spin 2nd. If they do spin then shortly after you will feel them bite. They do pick up alot of tiny rocks though. The car pulls and handles so much better than the Sumitomos. I will definitely get these again. I got them for $700 installed.

Its an indention in the tire to fit the rim inside. Look at your Sumitomo's and you can see how the rim just is on the tire. Nittos, BFG, Goodyear, etc have a "lip" of tire to protect the rim from damage.

my 275 nitto drags dont have a rim protector but they do run fater near the rim and it makes them look way wider that the falkens on the front of my car thats the same size.
i love my nittos they hood really good on the street and track.they will gwt even stickyer when the get some miles on em.

I checked 2 weeks ago and all the 315 tires are on national backorder except the Nittos and Sumitomos.

i want to try them... how long do they last generally??? no burnouts of course. do you have the stock rear end??? i heard that they aren't a good idea with a stock rear...

for 17x9 wheels... you use 315's?

The tread is soft. The softest tires I've felt. I figure they will last 10k miles or so but its hard to spin them unless you really try to. As for the rear end....
I broke it apart with 315 sumitomos. When I bought my car I got the $1000 2/24000 mile warranty. Thank god! They just had to replace the power steering pump and everything in the rear end except the differential and axles. The total was over $2800 and I paid $168 for the deductible and fluids. I got it out Friday and Saturday morning I called to put it in Monday for the same rear popping noise. My rear will be brand new this week. I am very hard on my car though.
